The Wee Hours

One thing people don't realize when they watch poker tournaments on TV is that these things take A LONG time to play out. Sixteen hour sessions aren't unusual, especially at a final table where you play until the champion is crowned. It's 12:45am in Vegas right now and if Phil Hellmuth wants to claim his 12th bracelet he'll probably have to play until dawn. They're down to four in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. tournament and Phil's bringing up the rear. But he's not that far behind, with 300,000 to chip leader's Tommy Hang's 1.1 million.
And though it's getting late (and will soon be getting early) it isn't like there's a lack of energy in the Amazon Room at the moment:

The man does draw a crowd, you gotta give him that. And Phil was engaging several members of the crowd (who maybe, just maybe, had enjoyed a few cocktails earlier on) in some spirited back-and-forth. All while playing five different forms of poker for hundreds of thousands of dollars and a World Series of Poker bracelet. Check back to see if Phil pulls it off. Say, around 4am Vegas time.
